Southampton Town & Docks

Southampton Town & Docks is an unconventional micro layout (at approx 8' x 6" for an area of four square feet). The layout is OO gauge and DC-controlled, using code 75 bullhead track throughout (excepting three points only available in flatbottom rail).

The location is very loosely based around Southampton Terminus station at the start of the 20th century (1895-1905), at which time the station was indeed called "Southampton Town & Docks" on the London & South Western Railway (LSWR). Buildings are based on those around the station area to give a representation of the station, the myriad of goods transfer sheds, and an engine shed for this terminus from London Waterloo.

Currently Southampton Town & Docks has the baseboards acquired (6x Scale Model Scenery Photo Plank boards).
